Prem Rawat

Mr. Prem Rawat was born in India on 10 December 1957. From an early age, while still in school, he became involved in continuing his father’s work of spreading the message of peace to large audiences. At the age of 13, he travelled to the United Kingdom and subsequently to the United States, from where he has continued to assist people globally in discovering and practising peace.

Over the past 50 years, Mr. Rawat has travelled extensively, covering more than 5 million miles to 457 cities in 67 countries and participating in over 5700 events. He averages around 60 speaking engagements per year. Prem Rawat holds three Guinness World Records: the largest audience for a book reading by a single author (114,704), the largest audience for a lecture (375,603), and the largest audience for a multi-author book reading (133,234).

Mr. Rawat offers a practical approach to experiencing peace. He shares his message with millions worldwide through books, training programs, web content, media appearances, press coverage and most prominently, his live events and speaking engagements.

He established the Peace Education Programme (PEP), which is taught in prisons, war-torn countries, veteran centres, and hospitals in over 80 countries globally. Mr. Rawat has addressed parliaments from the United Kingdom to New Zealand, special events at the European Union, and prestigious educational institutions. In 2020, his book “Hear Yourself in a Noisy World” was published and debuted as a New York Times bestseller.

In 2001, Mr. Prem Rawat founded The Prem Rawat Foundation, whose mission is to address fundamental human needs such as food, water, and the often-overlooked need for peace. The award-winning ‘Food For People’ program in India, Nepal, and Ghana has transformed entire communities.

Shri Prabhat Kumar

Shri Prabhat Kumar, an alumnus of Allahabad University and the London School of Economics, joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1963 and served as Cabinet Secretary to the Government of India. He was also the first Governor of Jharkhand.

Over his distinguished career, he held key positions including Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles, Chairman of the Food Corporation of India, and Minister (Economic) at the Indian Embassy in Paris.

With over fifty years of experience in public governance, Shri Prabhat Kumar is known for his analytical insights and ability to synthesize diverse viewpoints. He is passionate about ethics in governance and currently serves as the President of the IC Centre for Governance and Chancellor of Usha Martin University. Prabhat Kumar resides in Noida with his wife Pratima, enjoying a life of writing, poetry, and gardening.

Air Marshal Rajeev Sachdev
AVSM (PhD) (Retd)

Commissioned on 11 Dec 1981, Air Marshal Rajeev Sachdeva is a highly experienced Air Force officer with over 7200 flying hours on various Transport and Trainer aircraft.

A Cat ‘A’ Qualified Flying Instructor and Air Force Examiner, he has held key leadership roles including Command of An-32 Squadron, Base Commander of Chandigarh Airbase, Chief Instructor at Fixed Wing Training Faculty, Centre Director (Aviation) at NTRO, and Senior Air Staff Officer at HQ Southern Air Command. He also served in multiple joint-services capacities in Intelligence, Training, Operations, Policy Planning, and Force Structuring.

As Commandant of the College of Defence Management, he led the institution to receive the President’s Colours. He was instrumental in raising the Defence Cyber Agency, Defence Space Agency, and the Armed Forces Special Operations Division.

An academic with a Doctorate, MPhil, Masters in Management, and B.Com (Hons), he is a certified Project Manager (IPMA) and Management Instructor (AIMA). He is a Distinguished Fellow at USI, CAPS, and CLWS and contributes to academic and military journals. His doctoral research focused on Decision Making in Aviation from Osmania University. He has been recognized with the Presidential Medal, Ati Vishist Seva Medal (AVSM), and a Commendation by the Chief of the Air Staff.

Squadron Leader Archana Kapoor

Born into an Air Force family in 1971, Squadron Leader Archana Kapoor’s passion for the Armed Forces began early, inspired by her father’s service. After completing school in 1988, she joined the NCC Air Wing while pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science, where mentorship under Wg Cdr KN Bajpai further fueled her ambition to become a pilot.

In 1989, she and a few peers began campaigning for women’s entry into the Armed Forces. Their efforts led to a breakthrough in 1992, when the Air Force opened pilot roles to women—an opportunity she seized, marking the start of a historic journey.
